A new feature in FRAX-101 is variable output voltage, which will be a standard function implemented during Q2 2008. It also possible to upgrade your old FRAX-101 with this feature, which makes FRAX compatible with FRA any brand when it comes to output voltage.

The new FRAX 2.2 software is ready for delivery. The new version includes a number of improvements such as database, correlation analysis, improved reporting, extended graph settings, improved import functionality and several new languages such as German, Italian and Czech. ESCO Technologies signed an agreement to acquire Doble for 319 million USD. Doble will operate as a stand-alone subsidiary to ESCO, which is an 500 million USD company supplying engineered filtration products to the process, health-care and transportation industry.

Pax participated in the Emerging Technology Symposium on Transformer Health Monitoring and Maintenance in Johannesburg, South Africa during February 12-13. More than 60 engineers participated and among the speakers were Matz Ohlen and Peter Werelius from Pax, focusing on detection of mechanical problems and moisture assesment in trasnformers using FRA and FDS technology.
